What is Kinisi?
Kinisi is a habit tracking application that helps you build better behaviors and achieve your personal growth goals. You can create actions to encourage positive habits and actions to avoid negative behaviors.
How does the scoring system work?
Each action you create has a point value (1-5). When you complete an action, you earn those points. Your Kinisi Score is calculated as a 7-day rolling total of all your completed actions.
What's the difference between "Encourage" and "Avoid" actions?
Encourage actions are positive behaviors you want to build, like exercising or reading. You earn points when you complete them.
Avoid actions are negative behaviors you want to reduce, like avoiding junk food or limiting screen time. You earn points when you successfully avoid these behaviors.
How do I create my first action?
After signing up, click "Get Started" on the welcome screen or navigate to the "Actions" page from your profile menu. Click "Add Action" and fill in the details including the action name, type (encourage or avoid), and point value.
Can I track actions for different time periods?
Yes! You can set actions to be daily, weekly, or monthly. Daily actions reset each day, weekly actions track progress from Sunday to Saturday, and monthly actions track progress from the beginning of each month.
How do I log my progress?
On the dashboard, you'll see your actions listed. Use the + and - buttons to increment or decrement your progress for each action. You can also navigate to previous days to log actions you may have missed.
What happens if I miss a day?
No worries! You can navigate back up to 3 days to log actions you may have missed. Your Kinisi Score is based on a 7-day rolling window, so one missed day won't significantly impact your long-term progress.
How do I delete my account?
Go to your Account Settings page and scroll down to the "Delete Account" section. Click the delete button and confirm your choice. This will permanently remove your personal data while preserving anonymized analytics.
